In September of 2003, I turned to reach for something over my shoulder and felt a sharp pain in my upper back. It felt like someone was trying to stick a screwdriver through my shoulder blade. I saw a physical therapist numerous times. My back continued to hurt all the time, sometimes even waking me up at night. Even normal household activities such as vacuuming, ironing and lifting anything became extremely difficult and painful.

After 4 months of searching for an answer, I went to 2 different specialists, had a series of x-rays and even an MRI. Finally, my Primary Care Physician referred me to Dr. Peter Ray's clinic. He diagnosed me with a rib displacement and muscle spasms.

After only a couple of visits, he was able to get the rib back into place and the pain was greatly lessened. After approximately 8 visits, the feeling of the screwdriver is gone, the muscle spasms have stopped and all the pain is nearly gone. I have been able to resume nearly all my previous activities, including exercising 4 to 5 days a week! I have faith that in a few more weeks I will be completely pain free, thanks to Dr. Peter Ray !
