Effectiveness & Cost-Effectiveness
Chiropractic spinal manipulation has been assessed extensively, both
in terms of safety and effectiveness. Few other health care professions
have been as thoroughly researched as chiropractic. Research has proven
that chiropractic care is safe, effective and cost-effective.
There has been many scientific clinical studies (randomized controlled
trials included) assessing the appropriateness, effectiveness, and/or
cost-effectiveness of spinal manipulation or chiropractic manipulation
(most notably for back pain).

Patients experience long-lasting relief by addressing
the cause of thier symptoms.
Testimonial by:
Richard Linnebur
I became a patient of Dr. Ray's and Partners in Health in Sept. 2003.
I was referred by my Primary Care Physician because nothing else was
helping to relieve my pain.
I had surgery on my lower back in 2000 to release pressure caused
by three bulging discs. Not only did the surgery fail to relieve the
pain, but I subsequently lost some feeling in my left leg and foot
due to nerve damage from the surgery.
I also suffered from recurring pain in my left shoulder due to and
old injury. After years of pain medication, muscle relaxants and physical
therapy alone, I still agonized with the discomfort and some loss
of function in my arm.
Dr. Ray and the staff in his clinic treated my pain, first by listening
to me, and second by teaching me how to manage the pain. With the
combination of physical therapy, massage and chiropractic care the
pain began to rapidly diminish, not just because they were decreasing
the symptoms, my body was now healing.
In just eight months, I no longer have radiating pain in my left arm
from the shoulder injury and I have a great deal of the feeling back
in my left leg. I still have times when I can aggravate the original
injuries that cause my pain. By using the stretching techniques and
exercises that were taught to me, I can decrease the duration of the
relapse, and the actual number of consecutive pain free days grows
on a weekly basis.
A medical doctor once told me that I would have to just, “Learn
to live with the pain”. Dr. Ray and Partners in Health have
proven that to be a misstatement.
